Keeping in shape this pregnancy

Keep In Shape during pregnancy Prenatal Yoga and Running

Yesterday I thought id give prenatal yoga a try, and WOW I fell in love. The calm breathing and stretching I felt so energized after leaving. One thing she said stuck in my head though. She heard once that if you do 300 sqauts a day you'll have a easy labor.... HA! 300 squats I've done a total of like 20 squats my whole pregnancy. (I'm 16 weeks now!) The instructor and my classmates all laughed at this statement. But it got me thinking about being a little more active. I mean before my pregnancy I was running at least 3 times a week incorporating strength in every so often. So I made a plan the next morning after I drop off Taylor I'm going for a run!

And I did. So proud of myself for keeping my own promise. I almost chickened out right before I got out of my car, but I knew I could do this. At first I ran a little too hard and got wore out quick walked a little and jogged the rest ended up going 1.5 miles. Then I thought those trees there would be beautiful to do yoga under. So I grabbed my mat and stretched it out.

The run was gorgeous I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. It took me way to long to realize it's beauty. I jogged by the lake today at Stewart Park in Ithaca, NY

I was snap chatting my sisters bragging.

Then I set up here in these cool trees that looked like they were meant for doing yoga under!

Here's me stretching out my hips

A little down ward facing dog, The colors of the trees are getting so pretty.
Kind of tricky to get the picture on my own.

This is my wonderful pregnancy journey so far... By the way attempted some squats today did 60 I think that is pretty good to start.
